{DIY} Keepsake Box

I saw this clever spin on your everyday box at the Sawdust Festival here in Laguna Beach this last Summer.

This artist made these boxes and mounted them on the wall adding hooks inside for keys or necklaces. But really the box could have any use. Store old photos, cards, nic nacs, jewelry, whatever you want.

Here's how to make your own Keepsake Box:

You'll need...

(untreated wooden boxes from a craft store) 

(stencils, if you choose. or paint your own creation)

(wood finish, metalic gold spray paint and foam brushes...all can be found at a home improvement store)
