RESEARCH

I've collected these pieces of inspiration to get me going on my next goal around the house which is...building a new bed. Or maybe just a headboard. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to be buying the wood and staining it so it will have a rustic look on its own, but the shape is going to be Mid-Century Mod inspired. Finished product to be featured soon...hopefully.

In my search for mid-century mod graphics and interiors, I came across Shelby White's blog, WANKEN.

I quickly stalked him, and to my discovery, found that he is not only a Portland resident but also a photographer and visual designer and most of all, creator of Designspiration.net. A genius site for designers like myself to find graphic inspiration when in a bit of a "writer's block." Thank you Shelby, you are a life savor. Check it out here.
